Corona Geek After Dark #19 – Apple TV, Monetization, CoronaCon, Stripe Plugin

Corona Geek On last night’s Corona Geek After Dark, we discussed using controllers with Apple TV and whether people are buying game controllers or not. We also touched on monetization, mediation, and Facebook Audience Network oddities. We brainstormed speaker session ideas for CoronaCon and Jason Schroeder demoed his Stripe plugin, which is nearing completion.

Watching the video… at min 46, when you talk about an app where people can only watch ads, have you checked the Video Reward by Perk? It looks similar to your idea (I’ve not tried the app however)

Great to see the Stripe plugin is in development.
Unfortunately, Stripe is not available in many countries.

Any plans to make a PayPal plugin?

@Damir: thanks for your kind comment! (This is Jason who is developing the Stripe plugin.) I personally am not developing a PayPal plugin at this time, but I know that Danny Glover had one a few years ago that was only for Enterprise users (it pre-dated the plugin marketplace). Danny’s back on the CoronaLabs payroll, so maybe he’ll revisit that code in the future. 🙂

Regarding the stripe plugin. I thought you are not supposed to put your secret key in the client side.
