Overall, it was a great show and I'd like to thank Eric for taking time out of his...

Peter Sandford recently launched his first mobile app using the Corona SDK and it's just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. The game is an 8-Bit side scroller with a retro appeal. You play the game as turkey who is trying to escape his or her Thanksgiving fate by jumping over cornucopias, pilgrim hats, hay bails, and pits. Along the way you collect stars and try not to die. The app is fun and would make a good game for the kiddies on the way to grandma's house. You can download the .99 cent app in the Apple App Store for...

Well, I haven't made much development progress on my new Minecraft app for iOS, but I do have some exciting news to report for the Corona Geek community. Recently I got a tweet from Jordan Schuetz, Corona SDK developer and owner of Ninja Pig Studios that said, "You should invite me to one of your interviews :)". I'm always interested in talking with talented people who like to get things done, so I thought that was a great idea. A few tweets later we had ourselves a scheduled interview, which you can watch above. In case you like to read, here are the cliff notes. Jordan Schuetz started developing mobile apps when he was 16 years old. That's when he came up with the name Ninja Pig Studios. Jordan...

Are your apps being affected by the iPhone 5 diagonal swipe glitch? It seems that the iPhone 5 is having some issues with repeat swipe actions. The issue seems to be isolated to iPhone 5 as shown in the video below. I've tried the same test on my old iPhone 4 running iOS 6 and my new iPhone 5 running iOS 6. As shown in the video, the screen just freezes after several repetitive swipes. I don't have a 5th generation iPod, so I haven't been able to test on that device. Have you seen any issues with your apps?...

On Friday I bought an iPad mini from the Apple Store. I've been using it all weekend, so I've created a quick video review to share my thoughts on the device. So far I can say that the iPad mini is an excellent device. It's everything the iPad is without the awkward size and extra weight. The lack of retina display is not an issue and I absolutely love that I can type using my thumbs without having to jostle the device to reach keys. so far I've been able to do everything on the iPad Mini and I can...
