Facebook Audience Network plugin: updated rev-share ratio
Corona Labs has updated the Facebook Audience Network monetization plugin.
Based on feedback, we’ve decided to set the revenue-sharing ratio for the Facebook Audience Network ad provider plugin at a flat 5% instead of the more complicated “tier” system previously announced. This rate applies across the spectrum regardless of ad requests/impressions.
To get started with the Facebook Audience Network plugin, see our recent announcement for the plugin, or see the documentation. We thank our developer community for their feedback and support!

Posted at 17:52h, 09 FebruaryThis is a really good news. Unfortunately after waiting for 2-3 weeks, I am still did not manage to get any feedback on whether my Facebook Audience network status is approved. The app is still serving test ads. I would appreciate if anyone can assist. Thanks in advance.

Posted at 19:08h, 09 FebruaryThis is great news, thanks for listening. I feel like 5% is a a win win for both of us. I will still end up paying way more from the 5% then if there was a yearly subscription…but 5% is low enough where I feel like ease of use compared to corona cards or enterprise is wroth it. Can someone chime in and let me know how the 5% is calculated? Do you do something like if(math.random(20) == 1) then SHOW_AD end or is it every 20th ad will be perks ad code?

Posted at 21:46h, 10 FebruaryThis is great! I still wish there was a yearly cap, but I think this is a step in the right direction. I’m actually quite impressed with all the work Perk has put into Corona so far, and with how responsive they’ve been to developer feedback. It gives me renewed faith in the platform!
